Walk-in Tutoring

Tutoring is available to all currently enrolled students at Southwest Tennessee Community College. There is no charge for this service. Tutoring in content areas and study skill techniques is provided by all tutors. Content area tutoring is available in most of the core curriculum courses in Mathematics and English. Tutoring in other content areas may also be available. More specific information can be obtained by calling the various ASC locations.

Professional Tutors are available on a walk-in first-come, first-serve basis. They are available at all ASC locations. Some locations also have scholarship student tutors.

 

 

Online Tutoring

Distance Education Students

Students are placed in the Math Online Tutoring workshop by following the instructions at the Distance Education Online Math Tutoring webpage. Once you are added into the workshop, use your My.Southwest username and password to login and begin using Mathematics Online Tutoring.

An online tutoring workshop is currently available for the following courses in mathematics:

DSPM 0800 (Elementary Algebra)
DSPM 0850 (Intermediate Algebra)
DSPM 0870 (Elementary/Intermediate Algebra)
MATH 1410 (Foundations of Math I)
MATH 1420 (Foundations of Math II)
MATH 1530 (Statistics)
MATH 1710 (Pre-Calculus)
MATH 1830 (Elementary Calculus)
