Summer Institute
Southwest Tennessee Community College is proud to present the seventh annual Summer Institute on June 18 and 19. This year’s Institute is a joint venture between the Center of Emphasis for Teaching and Technology and the Center for Faculty Development. It is devoted to enhancing learning through shared ideas and practices as well as through the use of current and emerging technology. The Institute consists of presentations, hands-on sessions, and roundtable discussions that address a broad range of topics of interest to all faculty.

Online registration for Summer Institute 2009 will close at noon on Monday, June 15, due to the catering deadline. If you have registered and need to cancel a registration, please contact Gary Shockley (gshockley@southwest.tn.edu). Registration will be available in person, starting at 8:00 am each day of the Summer Institute. The registration desk will be located in the Media Gallery of the Macon Library. Registration will continue for sessions that have space available.
Getting to the Summer Institute
Summer Institute 2009 takes place in Memphis, Tennessee. All sessions will be held on the Southwest Tennessee Community College, Macon Cove Campus.

The Macon Cove Campus
is located at 5983 Macon Cove which is convenient to Interstate 40, Exit 12. Registration and continental breakfast will start at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18th in the Media Gallery, which is located in the Macon Library, first floor. If you need additional directions, please contact Susan Mills at 901-333-4612.
Parking
While attending training sessions at the Macon Cove Campus, you can park in the Lot-C
parking area across from the new Macon Library or the Lot-B
parking area across from the Fulton Building.
Note: when printing the image for Lot-B or Lot-C, please print in landscape orientation in the print options.
