Media Services

Our Mission

The Media Services Department is committed to assisting the college in achieving its overall mission by providing multi-media resources and equipment and technical services to support the instructional program and general assemblies. Media Services will also create an environment for the faculty of Southwest that is conducive to learning new technology and innovative techniques to use in the classroom.

Locations and Operating Hours:

Union Avenue (B102)
Monday through Friday - 8:00am – 4:30pm

Macon Cove (Parrish 1)
Monday through Thursday - 8:00am – 8:00pm
Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Media Services Department, although housed on the two main campuses of Southwest Tennessee Community College , also provides complete technical support to all of the off-campus sites and centers in both the Shelby and Fayette County service areas.

The Media Services Department has at the center of its focus providing students and faculty with access to state-of-the-art technology to supplement the learning process at Southwest. Because academic support is our primary concern, this will always be a standing goal of Media Services.
